Mission: To preserve and publicise the experiences of the men and women of
the Canadian Army, who engaged in the roles of Combat Support and Combat Service Support.
The Ashton Garrison Museum portrays the history of those branches and corps
that have provided the support necessary to sustain combat forces on the field of battle
and during peace time operations.
They are, to borrow an old expression, the tinkers, tailors and candlestick makers of the Army.
Today Victoria is the proud home of three such units:
741 Communications Squadron,
11 (Victoria) Service Battalion, and
11 (Victoria) Field Ambulance.
